Crag Barn Cottage, created from the upper floor of a former bank barn, accommodates up to four persons.

Sleeping accommodation comprises one double-bedded and one twin-bedded room. There is a bathroom with electric shower. The living room comprises lounge (with colour TV and hi-fi unit) and dining areas, with a small kitchen equipped with electric oven and hob, microwave, and fridge with freezing compartment. The cottage is double-glazed throughout and has electric storage heaters in every room, making it very cosy even in winter.

Outside is a small private garden area with picnic table; garden chairs and charcoal barbecue grill are available if required. Guests are free to roam over the seven acres of fell side which adjoin the cottage, provided that gates, fences, dry-stone walls are not damaged or animals disturbed. Views from the Crag, the small rocky ridge just behind the cottage, can be stunning in good weather conditions. Children must be supervised on the crag, as there are potentially dangerous rock faces. Please note that although the internal accommodation is all on one level, external access to the cottage is by a two short flights of stone steps.

The owners, who live in the adjacent farmhouse, personally supervise the cottage, and take great care and pride in seeking to maintain high standards, striving to provide a clean, safe and comfortable cottage in which guests can enjoy a relaxing and memorable stay in the Lakes.
